A fresh take on a retro design

The Halla dining chair is authentic, Mediterranean craftsmanship. It is made with the desire to use moulded, solid wood to create a modern chair with clear references to classic, vintage furniture design. It is produced in three versions: the Halla, the Halla plus and the Halla up.

Lenk celebrates the encounter between avant-garde design and high quality craftsmanship and the combination between natural finishes or lacquered wood and metal finishes.

Inspired by the geometric rigor of the 1950s & the versatile elegance of Italian haute couture, the design studio DEBONADEMEO created a unique piece of furniture.

LAMDA: A design inspired by the Greek letter «λ»

George Bosnas inspired by single strike shapes and lines, named his new design after the Greek letter “λ” Lamda, which represents the concept of union.

In fact, the front and back legs incline towards each other, creating a joint which transforms into invitive armrests that will support you comfortably & discreetly.
