Luca De Bona, an architect and Dario De Meo, a designer, became acquainted while they were traveling from Milan to the Veneto region. Subsequently, inspired by the knowledge they had exchanged during the hours of travel, they began working together in order to design and create items that meet the needs of contemporary homes.
In 2013 they set up the DEBONADEMEO studio in Padua and Milan, and started working with prestigious companies in the fields of home furnishings, lighting, and interior decorating, providing services such as interior design, art direction, conceptual design and product development. Micro and macro experimentation enables them to reinterpret and merge diverse fields such as architecture, design, graphic art and art in general so as to create inventive interiors and objects that make statements and define moods.
Their projects – distinguished by a mix of romantic evocations and industrial references – have appeared in a great number of Italian and international industry publications. Parallel to the design work they both teach in industry schools and universities.
